At our workshop, we take great pride in infusing our own lilac oil using the exquisite lilacs we grow ourselves. The process begins in late spring when the lilac blooms burst into a vibrant purple color and intoxicating fragrance. We carefully handpick the freshest flowers at their peak, ensuring that each petal retains its delightful essence. Once harvested, the lilacs are delicately blended with high-quality carrier oils, allowing the floral scent to permeate the mixture, creating a luxurious lilac oil.
Dandelions are remarkable plants that tend to flourish only in areas where the soil requires rejuvenation. Once the soil regains its vitality, these vibrant flowers typically disappear, making way for healthier ecosystems. Additionally, dandelions serve as the first source of pollen in the spring, providing essential nourishment for our beloved bees as they emerge from their winter slumber. Why does Farmers Blend use the All- Natural label instead of Grass fed?- what's the difference?
At Farmers Blend, there are so many things that matter to us. what we put in and/or on our bodies is important. we think its wonderful to know that farmers are feeding their cattle grass, but for us- there is so much more that matters. Grass fed, does not tell the whole story.
We could Slap the Grass fed label on our products, but it does not give recognition to our wonderful farmers that go above and beyond just grass Fed!!
We want to know that they are nutritionally balanced and have other plants available to them if that grass is lacking in nutrients. cattle are forage grazers, and just like us, they will seek out other options when their main grassy pastures are lacking in nutrients. Are they getting access to those plants?- or are they given synthetic tubs of minerals to make up for it? - Grass Fed does not always mean pasture raised and Not all Grass is equal- or free of pesticides and chemical fertilizers. Do they get unnecessary antibiotic's? do they get vaccinated? are they being given growth hormones?
We love our Farmers and how much they care about raising All- Natural cattle, the way God intended!!
Our All Natural Tallow is free of any preservatives and chemicals. and the suet we render it from comes from Cattle that are raised Naturally in pastures, free of fertilizers and pesticides and while having access to other Natural Plants to give them a well balanced diet. They are not given growth hormones, vaccines or unnecessary antibiotic's.
